Materials

Fiber reinforced Plastics/Composites come in various combinations of resins (eg . polyester, vinylester and epoxy) and mats(e.g. glass fiber, carbon fiber and aramid). These fiber-reinforced plastics are strong and light. The advantages of Fiber reinforced Plastics/Composites are that it offers a light, strong, corrosion free, durable and chemical resistant build with the benefit that it can be formed in any shape or design.

Sandwich construction. This is the combination of two qualities that are normally contradictory, light and strong. A central material holds the two fiber reinforced mats at a set distance from each other, therefore creating a light and rigid construction.
